For marking off saving goals and finished worksheets. Small thing, but it's the part kids ask about first.

Most kids finish school never having been taught this

Compound interest, budgeting, why things cost what they cost — almost none of it is on the syllabus, and by the time it matters your kid is already making the decisions. These books start the conversation at four, not eighteen.

My daughter has been enjoying these books a lot. I'm a financial broker, so, she is a 5 year old, that loves taking about the investments of her RESP. After ready these books, it leads to a lot of questions about inflation, and stocks, and the amazing way she can explain interest and compound interest, has me so excited.

My 6 year old loves the set! He's starting to do more chores and we're trying help him understand money management. It's easy to follow with basic concepts for kids to understand. I bought a second set for my nephew!

We loved this series! My kid asked me to read through the entire set immediately, and started to make his own list of Needs/Wants up on the wall. We're brainstorming ideas for how he can make money with his friends this summer.

Questions

What age is this right for?

Four to ten. The early books work as read-alouds for pre-readers; the later ones and the workbook carry an eight-to-ten-year-old. If you have kids at both ends, the set covers both.

Do I need to know anything about economics?

No. The conversation cards give you the question and the books give you the explanation. You're reading a story, not teaching a class.

Is the workbook printed or digital?

Digital, and it arrives straight away. The 50-page printable PDF is emailed to you the moment you check out, so you can start on it tonight while the box is still in the post. No physical workbook ships. The books, cards and stickers all arrive together.

What does shipping cost?

Nothing, for the contiguous U.S. and Canada.

Can I return it?

Yes — you have 30 days from the day it arrives. Email kelly@econforkids.com to start a return and we'll send instructions; please don't post anything back before that, as unrequested returns can't be accepted. Items need to come back unused and in the condition they arrived, and return postage is yours unless the order turned up damaged or wrong. The workbook PDF is yours to keep either way. Full terms are in the refund policy.
